Panorama Landhaus

While some drive, others are willing to take the 6 minute walk up to the ski lifts to warm up for the up coming activity. Either way, the quaint Panorama Landhaus is there to provide a comforting welcoming and farewell. Wake up to an amazing breakfast down at the restaurant before going on your daily adventure. Or spend your day in the lounge with the occasional trip to the sauna to sweat out all your worries. Even ask the friendly employees at reception to point you to the best local watering hole or shop. No matter what you do, they’re happy to help.

Obergurgl – Best for Early/Late Ski Season

Combined with the Hochgurgl ski area, Obergurgl-Hochgurgl ski resort spans about 70 miles (112km). The area is divided into 3 sections; 23 miles (36.5km) of easy blue runs, about 35 miles (55.5km) of intermediate red runs, and about 13 miles (20km) of difficult black runs. Due to its altitude, it is one of the earliest ski resorts in Austria to open and also stays open the longest

Almost every ski run ends in the center of the village, so skiers can knock back a few brews once they’re done, or mosey on back to their hotels. On the mountain, there are still plenty of restaurants and facilities visitors use during their ski-cations. While small, Obergurgl-Hochgurgl can still bring big fun to solo travelers and families.

What an awesome place it's Austria! I would love to go and learn how to do skiing, I have afraid to the high places, but I think that maybe in the Cable Car I could be braver and jump to make one of my dreams come true, the fireplace looks very warm place to be after a day of adventures! Thanks for this great post, it really encourages me to go and learn to ski!
