The hotel does offer guests reduced rates at the nearby Marina Health & Leisure fitness and wellness club.
In addition, hotel amenities include excellent dining options, including, The Brasserie restaurant, which serves international cuisine utilizing local produce, and The Admiral de Saumarez Bar, which exudes a maritime ambiance. Each of the 37 rooms comes with pocket sprung mattresses, iPod stations, free WiFi, safes, minibars, and an iron and ironing board. The kitchen prepares continental and traditional English menus each morning.
Best Western Moores Hotel
Located in the heart of the city, this hotel offers 46 rooms and three suites—all with complimentary WiFi. Only the hotel’s A-Class rooms have air conditioning and small refrigerators. In terms of amenities, the hotel furnishes a small health suite with sauna, Jacuzzi, and modest fitness room, and guests may use the pool and fitness facilities in the other Best Western hotels in St. Peter Port gratis.
Dining options include the fine-dining Conservatory Restaurant, the Austrian-inspired Hideaway Patisserie and Brasserie, and the Library Bar, which serves traditional English pub fare, including seasonal specials and a variety of roasts. The Residents’ Lounge features a black and white theme, and the new Leopard Bar and Restaurant serves a range of dishes, from burgers and steaks to Scottish smoked salmon. Budget Accommodations in St. Peter Port
This boutique hotel offers 14 comfortable and clean rooms, and many come with stunning views of the city. It comes at a good value, and it is just a 10-minute walk to the city’s attractions; however, the hotel lies at the top of a hill and any walk into town begins and ends with several flights of stone steps.
Each of the rooms comes with complimentary WiFi, and the hotel has a private garden for guests to enjoy. Note that the hotel’s reception is not always staffed.
Offering a very good value, this hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the city center, and the staff is welcoming and efficient. Though the furniture may seem to have been haphazardly collected, the 24 rooms are well maintained and come with tea and coffee making facilities and central heating.
