Whether it’s the Kremlin’s imposing towers or a heaping plate of fresh blini, there are plenty of reasons to visit Moscow.  However, Moscow is not known for reasonably-priced accommodations. Recently, Moscow has made efforts to welcome tourists with a wider range of hotel options. Now, with a little searching, visitors on any budget can locate rooms – from luxurious suites to fun, funky dorms.

If you’re like me, that’s enough to lend the entire edifice some mystique. The prices are fairly reasonable for Moscow, and it’s comfortable and conviently located near a metro station.

Budget Hotels in Moscow

Godzilla’s
Moscow’s self-proclaimed “best-known hostel” Godzilla’s is a good choice for backpackers and those on a budget. Laundry, lockers, onward travel and visa registration services can be handled by the English-speaking staff. The hostel’s location in the Kitay Gorod neighborhood means that it has access to tourist attractions, as well as the clubs and pubs that backpackers crave.
